It is in the Design phase that a project acquires it's look and feel by taking on form in colors, shapes, and other audio, visual, or textual elements that bridge the parts of the project developed in the definition and architectural phases.
The design phase maximizes the results of creative time and energy by following the information structures defined in the architecture phase. Properly implemented, the definition and architectural phases create a solid foundation on which to build a functional, usable and memorable look and feel.
